Went for dinner with the LNS mates @ Bras Basah Area last Friday.
The open air food center next to Allson Hotel.
Since we're there, definitely "Claypot Dried Chilli Frog Legs" is my 1st choice.
2nd choice is "Wu Xiang Mee Fen". Is also another tasty stuffs over there.
We order 02 types of Claypot Frog Legs. One is the "Ginger With Spring Onion",
( For those who can't take spicy food like Jenny )
& the other is the "Dried Chilli Version".
I emphasis again & again to the stall owner, for the "Dried Chilli Version",
add as much as possible Dried Chilli for us, & he did. Is was damn bloody spicy,
But it is also damn damn shiok.. ....
I guess they're using Bull Frog cause the leg portion is damn huge.
None of other stall that sell the same thing serve with such a big size frog leg.
Some might wonder since the frog leg is so big, izit mean that the meat is not so fresh ?
All of you are wrong mann.. ....
To our surprise, the meat is very fresh. The amazing things is, after he had added
so huge amounts of spicy stuffs into it. We can still get to taste some sweet from the meat.
It really arouse our curiosity on how the hell he cook it.
But then, hack lah, I rather eat it than think on how to cook it. haha.. ....
In facts, after the 1st round, we order again one more round but this time,
only the spicy version and without inform the others,
I told the stall owner that the 1st one is not spicy enough.. ....hahahahaha
I believe he got freak out & he really added ALOT MORE of spicy stuffs in.
One of our fren, TJ, he like to pick up the Dried Chilli & suck the juice.
On the 2nd round, he literately surrender to it coz it actually so spicy until his/our lips is numb.
After all the hot & spicy stuffs, it is good to end it with a ice cold beer.
It just give the whole dinner sessions a perfect ending.
But then our fren Ferine, after I told her about the dinner sessions,
she said, "All you guys sound so uncle leh".. ....grrrrrr ;-p
Anyway, whatever it is, take a look at the image attached below.
Look at the "Claypot Dried Chilli Frog Legs", isn't it look yaming ??
Ice cold beer to end the sessions. We actually order Tiger Beer over there.
We had Erdinger when we're @ indochine after the meal.
Ice-cold Erdinger, anyone ?? ;-p
